Dear members of the IBA Asset Recovery Committee;

We are delighted to publish the FIRST edition of the Asset Recovery Committee’s newsletter.

In the first issue of the newsletter, we focus on the latest judgments and trends in the world of asset recovery. We are pleased to publish insights from various parts of the world: from Europe (Barcelona, London, and Warsaw), Australia and Pakistan. All these publications show how important the issue of asset recovery is becoming and what issues our members face in their jurisdictions.

We are also pleased to announce the first Asset Recovery Committee conference, which will take place in Vienna on 7–8 December. Details of the conference you can find here. We will be honoured to meet you at our first – historic – conference.

We can't forget about the upcoming Annual Conference in Paris, where the Asset Recovery Committee will make its debut.
